Reminds me of a Seinfeld episode

The one where George, confronted by superiors for engaging in outrageously shocking behavior on top of his desk, pretends that he had no idea that what he was doing was forbidden, asking, "Was that wrong? Should I not have done that? ...if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started here that that sort of thing is frowned upon... "

In this case, the part of George is played by Fr. Patrick Earl, SJ, and the shocking behavior is the reading of the Koran at Mass.
