Evensong is now a duly authorized Catholic liturgy

Evensong, the Anglican conflation of the offices of Vespers and Compline, is being celebrated by ordinariate groups as part of the patrimony they are permitted to bring with them into the Church. 

The estimable Dr. Oddie notes: "when I left the Church of England, I grimly turned my back also on some priceless treasures. Now I have been given them back without even asking for them. And by whom? Why, by the Pope of Rome himself."
