Reparation Vigil in North Jersey tonight

Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary

This evening Sacred Heart Church in Bloomfield, NJ, which is quite near the Hicks family demesne, though it is not the Hicks family's parish church, will host a "Reparation Vigil to Adore the most Sacred Heart of Jesus and Honor the Immaculate Heart of Mary."  The New Jersey Mission of a group called "The Alliance of the Two Hearts" has organized the Vigil, which will last through the night and into Saturday morning.

Here is the Alliance's description of what takes place at a Reparation Vigil:

"The Communion of Reparation All-Night Vigil is a celebration of the Eucharist every First Friday and First Saturday of the month.  We strive to make a worthy reception of Holy Communion in reparation for all the sacrileges which we commit against the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  It is celebrated on two different days but at the same time as one inseparable devotion, with the purpose of repairing for the sins of the world and consoling the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.  The whole night is spent in prayer and adoration with the basic elements of Communion of Reparation: Holy Eucharist, Rosary, Confession and Holy Hours of Adoration."

I'm planning participate in a least part of the Vigil.
