We continue to be amazed at the intelligence on display throughout "The Heresy of Formlessness," Martin Mosebach's brilliantly perceptive appeal on behalf of the Gregorian Mass. For instance, we liked this passing reference to "restored churches:"
"Our restored churches, expensively fitted out according to the latest architectural fashions, often resemble carefully dissected skeletons, ready for a future life as museum pieces."
