Today is the feast of St. Digna of Cordoba (d. 853 AD). St. Digna was a nun at the double monastery of Tabanos, near Cordoba. St. Digna was a victim of the persecutions of the Muslim Moors; along with St. Felix and St. Anastasius, St. Digna was beheaded at the order of the Caliph.
